We believe in having fun and making stories mean something. That's why we're keeping the video game theme down to our show events.
The Last of Us: This will feature the titular Last of Us match, a Royal-Rumble style gauntlet, as its centerpiece.
Combat Evolved: A night devoted to the technical Wisdom division.
Dead by Daylight: A night of extreme matches devoted to the Power division. Every match will have some sort of stipulation.
Devil May Cry: Devoted to the high-flying Courage division.
Tri-Force Heroes: The night of the TriForce Throwdown, in which the Power, Courage and Wisdom Champions compete for a shot at our top title at Final Fantasy. Regardless of the result, all three titles are vacated. The two former champions will be granted opportunities to win their titles back at Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy: The final show of the year and also the biggest. That year's TriForce Champion will face the Final Boss for their title. Other feuds and storylines, ideally, will be brought to a close here.
Yes, you read that right, there are four singles divisions.
Final Boss: Obviously, the top prize in Level Up - our World title. It will be defended in the main event of every PPV, and occasionally on special episodes of EXP.
Power: This is our extreme/hardcore division.
Courage: This is our high-flying division. There are no weight limits, just a certain style your wrestler employs.
Wisdom: This is our technical/submission wrestling division.
And we will also have the Multiplayer Championship, which is our tag team division. Each member of the team gets a set of Power Gloves. We love the Power Gloves. They're so bad.
As of now, these are the current match types unique to Level Up:
SMASH Match: A match where the only way to win is to force your opponent(s) out of the ring. There are no ropes.
The Last of Us Gauntlet: A match with staggered entries, similar to a Royal Rumble, only the eliminations can only occur through pinfall or submission.
Skeleton Key Match: A number of wrestlers start out, and with every elimination, a different match type or stipulation is unlocked. The match types are decided at random.
Bloodweb Match: The wrestlers start on a platform above the ring. A barbed wire web hangs on all four turnbuckles, covering the length of the ring. The match can only end in pinfall or submission. You can throw your opponent into the barbed wire web below, but if you want to win the match...you'll have to join them.
Super Punch-Out!: Anything goes, the only way to win is by KO.
