Flashback to Carnage Wrestling's past. Baltimore, Maryland. Monday 9th May. (On-Camera)
It was a different situation for Lord Raab instead of standing in an alleyway like he usually does. Because the PPV is located in Baltimore, and his opponent revolved around it. Raab stood outside of an abandoned Carnage arena, where both he and Bryan Ford had made their name, and there's one particular thing Lord Raab brought with him to the occasion. He saves that for later in the video, but it was still at night while it was away from alleyways. Raab did his video for the match. He takes a quick look at it.
Lord Raab: "I know what you are thinking; I'm standing here instead of being in an alleyway. Because today is a special occasion for two former Carnage wrestlers looking outside of this abandoned Carnage arena; for those who will listen to me, this was a place where Bryan Ford and I wrestled, along with Mac and Kat too. But the reason we're fighting is that we were in Carnage the longest. We had memorable achievements with the belts we held; well, Mac held the Baltimore title, but that aside, I'm the first opponent you've ever faced solo's wise in the ring."
Nodding his head, being a little calmer than he usually would, Bryan didn't say anything bad about Raab recently or on the shows, so he had to go by what he knew and some of the comments Bryan Ford mentioned in the matches before the rumble.
Lord Raab: "Bryan Ford is a former Baltimore champion, a great one when he defeated Sam Action back in two thousand and nineteen on a Chaos show, and while he lost in his first title defence, it still can't be taken away from him. Another thing he does have over me, and that's because it will never be a thing for me, is the charisma side of things. You are charismatic, and you've always been like that since the day I've heard about you."
He takes a short pause as he turns from the camera to look at the Carnage arena. Henry held the camera and looked at it briefly, even holding the camera. It hadn't been used since May thirty-first last year.
Lord Raab: "It still looks in great shape, don't you think, Bryan? I've also heard about the successes you've had since Carnage Wrestling closed down. Being in Mainstream Wrestling, apart from the World Heavyweight title, which I believe you're in the process of capturing, you've won every other solo's title in the company. I got to say, that's impressive, and you are someone I will take seriously, despite me wanting to beat the living shit out of you. However, why did it take you so long to want to be more competitive in the solo's division in Level Up? I get it because you wanted to face a Carnage legend like me in your first solo's competition against me."
It was something not many people would think Lord Raab would know about because he doesn't have Twitter, but he had been watching some of the shows, mainly because he had to when he'll face his main rival sooner than later.
Lord Raab: "You should come here full-time, Bryan because you'd get extra competition. All I've seen you do since you've been around Level Up is being in the rumble. Tell me, Bryan, I understand you want to represent Mainstream Wrestling, but why compete every year to win a title? With me, I'll never join elsewhere to win a title. That's just greedy. You have a lot of great skills in the ring, but I'm a different monster now. While I still will crush people and be a vicious maniac, I made a new friend in Kat Jones lately. She has been great, and we still talk to each other to this day."
It wasn't romance or anything; primarily, Kat opened Lord Raab up about his life and what he had to go through. Lord Raab scratched his head.
Lord Raab: "The point is it doesn't matter what you've done and doesn't matter if your the charismatic guy on this roster; you haven't done enough to belong here, and at times, you only take part in the rumble match to make up the numbers. Granted, maybe Mainstream Wrestling gets in the way of that, but you can still come and wrestle for Level Up. I remember when you were dedicated so much to Carnage. You wrestled every match, even against me at some points, and you showed up to every show. I wrestle in XWF and here, if you must know, just to beat the fuck out of everyone around me."
An evil laugh came out of the red and black stripy mask, Raab nodded his head, satisfied with what he had said so far, dropping his guard quite a lot, but he almost forgot one thing he had with him. He takes it out of a tote bag.
Lord Raab: "But what you don't have is a title belt to know you've left a legacy inside of that Carnage arena and inside of Carnage Wrestling that will forever be in the history books. I have my half of the tag title right here to state I was a part of that company; I was proud to have wrestled for Carnage, one that they would allow us to beat the living shit out of each other more than Level Up does here. I can't wait to face you in the ring, Bryan Ford, because it has been a long time coming, and I know all of these things you say about a monster like me will not be true. You will struggle so bad that your only option to beat me is your high flying moves, and it's not going to be enough to beat me, especially since I've evolved and adapted since we last fought each other."
Although a lot more relaxed, Raab still had an itch to be angry because he's been all of his life of being a professional wrestler.
Lord Raab: "I don't know or care who the special guest referee will be for our match, but let's hope it's one that was a former Carnage Wrestler and someone that doesn't screw us over. Also, I hope I can bash your brains with my weapon and hardcore wrestling skills because I expect you to do well. I want you to beat the shit out of me, but I will be doing the same with you as well. I will beat the fuck out of you, and then I'll either pin or make you submit in the ring, regretting you'll ever want to have a solo's match against me again. Prepare to be Raabinated by The Masked German Monster."
Raab laughed while looking at the building once more before he headed his way to the hired apartment he and Henry had been staying in since they sold off the headquarters land they had.
